거더리는 신리의 자연마을 가운데 하나이다. 1866년 병인박해가 일어나자 다블뤼 주교는 이 곳에 피신하였 으나, 자신을 붙잡으러 온 포교들에게 스스로 체포되 었다. 오매트르 신부와 위앵 신부도 이곳으로 와서 자 수하였고, 황석두 루카도 따라나섰다. 이들은 모두 보 령 갈매못에서 참수되었다. 주교와 두 신부들이 감금되었던 집은 박해 이후 공소로 사용되기도 하였다.

Geodeori is one of the natural villages in Sinri. When the Byeongin Persecution broke out in 1866, Bishop Daveluy took refuge here but surrendered himself to the authorities who came to arrest him. Fathers Aumaitre and Huin also came to this place and turned themselves in, followed by Luke Hwang Seok-du. All of them were beheaded at Galmaemot in Boryeong. The house where the bishop and the two priests were held was later used as a chapel after the persecution.
