하흑은 '아랫 검은들'을 뜻한다. 현재의 공소는 1980년대 재건축되었다. 하흑공소는 복자 김사집 프란치스코를 기념한다. 복자 김사집은'비방구지'출신으로 신앙을 가진 이후로 교리책을 필사하여 가난한 사람들에게 나눠주고, 애덕을 널리 실천하였다. 1802년 1월 순교에 앞서"천주와 성모님께 의지하여 교우답게 살아라"는 유언을 자녀들에게 남겼다.
Haheuk Chapel – In Memory of Blessed Francis Kim Sajip

Haheuk means "Lower Black Field." The current chapel was rebuilt in the 1980s. Haheuk Chapel commemorates Blessed Francis Kim Sajip. Blessed Kim Sajip, originally from Bibanggugi, copied catechism books by hand and shared them with the poor after embracing the faith. He practiced charity widely. Before his martyrdom in January 1802, he left a final message to his children: "Rely on the Lord and the Blessed Mother, and live as true believers."
