"(양촌에) 도착하기 조금 전, ... 세거리와 거더리 두 마을은 1866년 이전까지는 완전히 교우들 마을이었다." (1896년 10월 26일자뮈텔주교 일기) 현재의 공소건물은 1935년에 지어졌다. 판공 때가 되면 본당 신부가 머물면서 성사를 베풀고, 푸짐한 음식을 나누며 흥겨운 잔치를 벌였다고 한다.

"Just before arriving in (Yangchon), ... the two villages of Segori and Geodeori were entirely Catholic villages until 1866." (From Bishop Mutel's diary, October 26, 1896) The current chapel building was constructed in 1935. During confession season, the parish priest would stay there to administer the sacraments. It is said that people shared abundant food and enjoyed joyful feasts together.
